As you may or may not be aware, the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards took place last Thursday in London, at The Rose Club.
So... would you like the good news or the bad news?
Well... the good news is as follows: This 'lil blog came 'Highly Commended' in the 'Best Established Fashion Blog' Category (just in case you couldn't tell from the above picture)!!! I couldn't believe it when 'Polway' was called, and I can promise you that I looked suitably awkward as I made my way to the stage (luckily no pictures have surfaced... yet).
I just want to say that I am so grateful to everyone that voted, I realise that I didn't win, but for me, coming 'Highly Commended' is more than a dream come true! Also, even if you didn't vote, thanks for simply reading my blog and putting up with my random thought processes and rambles! I value each and every one of you (well isn't this turning into a mini speech... Apologies).
So the bad news: The night after the blog awards, my iPhone was stolen in London, and apart from being a massive nuissance in terms of insurance etc. it also means that any pictures I took on the night have been lost (apart from the above, which I had the brains to post instantly), so the blog post I had planned on it won't be happening. This also means that my Twitter and Instagram accounts won't be as active until my new phone arrives which could take up to two weeks! So annoying. Alas, worse things have happened, just bear with me!
Finally, a mahoosive 'Thank You' to Cosmopolitan and Next for hosting such a wonderful evening, it was great to meet so many people, especially the bloggers that I've been reading for an age!
