Helena BC x Marc Jacobs

Helena Bonham Carter for Marc Jacobs
Scanned by me from Paris Vogue, Septembre '11

Helena Bonham Carter is a little like Vivienne Westwood for me, AKA she's got that no-frills/imma-dress-how-I-want attitude that exudes confidence and results in a strong level of personal style that I admire in any person. Even if it isn't how I'd personally dress.

So whilst I'm not entirely sure why this isn't a Vivienne Westwood advertisement (especially since she basically wears Vivienne exclusively to red carpet events), it definitely put a smile on my face on this miserable Thursday afternoon. And not a fake paper one like in the picture.

I'm assuming this was shot by Juergen Teller as usual? If so, I really like his style of photography. Even if I'm not a huge Marc Jacobs fan per say, his photos have an iconic style-- they stick with me unlike many other campaign photos do.
