Sorry, it's been a while! Along with life and all the usual excuses, there has been a reason for my absense on Polway:
I've decided to make the jump to wordpress, which has been a longer and more complicated process than I initially thought. I am, however, just about there, and you can find Polway at the new and exciting address:
If you already follow me via bloglovin' then you guys should automatically be migrated in the near future. If, however, you follow me via google friend connect, then I'd greatly appreciate it if you could follow me on bloglovin instead. Or you can follow me on twitter or facebook. Or if you're sick of my ramblings then that's also fine and I'll understand!
Dress: Mm6 by Maison Martin Margiela // Trench: Burberry (of course) // Trousers: Zara
Shoes: Zara// Clutch: ASOS
Trend or not, I can never resist the magpie-esque urge towards something shiny. Or in this case, metallic. Take the above; it's probably not recommended to wear them all together, but hey, why not throw caution to the wind and make like a streetstyle photographer/disco ball's dream and shine [bright like a diamond*]?
I posted about the first J W Anderson for Topshop collection a while back, more specifically detailing my love for the tortoise print (I never did get my hands on any of those pieces, sad face).
Needless to say I was therefore super excited about the launch of his second collection for the High Street Mecca, and after being inspired by a brief conversation with the boyf about how I don't actually own a pair of sturdy 'go with everything'* shoes**, I've decided these are perfect.
*Silver goes with everything, right?
** I own pretty flats and flimsy flats and black boots that I seem to live in, but not a 'proper' pair of shoes.
