shoes in Edinburgh

Just a quick post to show off a rather wonderful pair of shoes that I found during my time in Edinburgh in August (can't actually believe it has taken me this long to post them...). I was staying with a friend that knows me so well that a trip around the charity shops was penciled into our schedule, around the madness of the Fringe Festival. FYI, the charity shops in Edinburgh are AMAZE. Actually, everything about Edinburgh is pretty incredible.

Anyway, I digress: these shoes were the kind of find that you didn't know you were looking for... but that turns out to be plus que parfait! As well as being almost snakeskin (a skin/print that I'm hoping will be around for a while), they go with everything and have a heel of about an inch which makes me better than short without making me hobble.

The photo was taken by me on a Minolta film camera that's approximately 40-50yrs old, that my Dad has kindly let me experiment with whilst I decide whether to buy a DSLR or not. Judging by the films I've had developed so far, I've a way to go before I can deem myself worthy of making the investment!
